About me: I've experienced the frustration of recovery from knee surgery. I know the pain of a spasming neck and back. I know the fight against stiffness and deteriorating posture that comes from sitting for a living and the stress and anxiety of being a human. After driving a taxi and touring in bands for a decade I decided to change course and go to East West College where I received my massage therapy training. I've been leading yoga classes at Forge Hot Yoga studios since receiving my 500 hour teaching certificate for hot and yin yoga in 2017. I love working with people to help them feel more comfortable in their bodies and I'm commited to working together to help you feel better.
*All bodywork is clothed. Wear comfortable shorts and a sports bra, tank top or t-shirt.*
Tell me one or two areas that are tense or painful or otherwise causing you trouble. I'll spend time addressing your issues and finding other areas that might be involved or are also in need of attention.
I can incorporate trigger point, myofascial release, stretching and sports oriented techniques as needed.
Yoga + Deep Tissue
In these sessions, pick 2 or 3 postures you'd like specific help with. We'll spend about 30 minutes on posture coaching and the rest of the time on bodywork designed to improve those postures. Another option for these sessions is to receive bodywork and then go over a few postures you can add to your home practice to benefit your body specifically and acheive your goals.
Yoga Posture Clinic
45 min: $45
Pick 3 or 4 postures you'd like coaching on. You'll get to fine tune the postures so they work best for your current body to help you get the most out of them.
I take cards and cash. There's a $2.50 credit card fee for transactions under $100 and a $5 fee for transactions over $100.
